Anterior Skull Fractures with Left Craniotomy and Repairs – No Text

This exhibit depicts anterior fractures of the skull with a subsequent left craniotomy and repairs. Pre-operatively, fractures of the anterior skull can be seen, including: bilateral fractures of the frontal bone, bilateral orbital roof fractures, disruption of the ethmoid sinus roof, displaced fracture of the left nasal bone, displaced left tripod fracture, left orbital fractures, and left maxillary fractures. Bone graft struts and metal plates were used to fixate fractures of the zygomatic sutures. Left frontal fractures and a craniotomy have also been repaired with miniplates.
