Fractures of the Right Distal Radius and Ulna with Fixation

This exhibit depicts comminuted fractures of the right forearm with subsequent surgical repairs. The post-trauma conditions include a fracture of the radial shaft, comminuted fractures of the distal radius, and a comminuted fracture of the ulna. Post-operatively, the fractures have been reduced and fixated with three plates. Antibiotic beads were packed into the forearm to prevent infection.
