Loosening of C4-7 Anterior Cervical Plate

This exhibit features three sagittal conditions of the cervical spine after an anterior discectomy and fusion procedure. The first illustration shows vertebrectomies, discectomies, and fusion of C4-7 with iliac crest bone graft. An anterior three level plate is secured into the C4-7 vertebral bodies with screws. The second condition shows loosening and anterior displacement of the hardware from the vertebrae. Lastly, the spine is seen status-post anterior plate and screw removal.
