Right Distal Radius Fracture and Radioulnar Fixation

This exhibit depicts a fracture of the right distal radius fracture with subsequent radioulnar fixation. Post-traumatic conditions include a fracture of the right distal radius with dorsal dislocation, and interruption of the distal radioulnar joint. A Kapandji-Suave distal radioulnar arthrodesis was performed to correct radioulnar joint complications. The procedure consists of ulnar resection, fusion of the radioulnar joint with screws, and temporary pinning of the ulnar shaft to prevent rotation.
