Right Wrist Fracture, Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, and Surgical Repair

This exhibit depicts the post accident condition of a right wrist with subsequent fixation and carpal tunnel release. Post-accident, there is a comminuted, displaced fracture of the distal radius, and an ulnar styloid fracture. The radial fracture was surgically reduced and fixated with a 6 hole distal radius plate. Resulting carpal tunnel syndrome was corrected with surgical release of the transverse carpal and palmar carpal ligaments.
