C3-7 Anterior Cervical Discectomy, C4-6 Corpectomy, and Fusion

This exhibit depicts C3-7 discectomies, C4-6 corpectomies, and an interbody fusion to relieve spinal canal impingement. A sagittal section of the cervical spine highlights an extruded disc herniation compressing the spinal cord. Anterior osteophytes are removed and a trough is made from the inferior C3 endplate to the superior C7 endplate. Posterior osteophytes, longitudinal ligament, and disc materials are removed from C3-C7. Fibular strut allografts are placed into the trough, and an anterior four level plate is secured with screws.
