C6-7 Anterior Cervical Discectomy and Fusion
SKU: C11017
This exhibit depicts three sagittal disc injuries with subsequent C6-7 anterior cervical discectomy and fusion. Sagittal conditions include a C5-6 disc bulge, a C6-7 disc herniation, osteophytes with mass effect on the spinal cord, and a C7-T1 disc-ridge complex. The procedure begins with an incision over the anterior neck, placement of retractors, and exposure of C6-7. A discectomy is then performed, and a 4.9mm metal interbody spacer is impacted into the disc space. Lastly, the fusion is stabilized with metal plate and screw fixation.
