C6-7 Posterior Cervical Hemilaminectomy with Bilateral Foraminotomies – No Text
This exhibit depicts a C6-7 posterior hemilaminectomy with bilateral foraminotomies for neural decompression. The procedure begins with a posterior midline incision and exposure of the C6-7 lamina. The inferior lamina of C6 and superior lamina of C7 are partially removed with a drill, allowing access to the neural foramen. Bilateral foraminotomies are then performed to decompress the exiting cervical nerve roots.
