Left Arthroscopic and Open Surgical Repairs

SKU: C15022

An arthroscopic exam of the left shoulder reveals a partial biceps tendon tear, subacromial impingement, labral tears, synovitis, a partial subscapularis tear, and a retracted full-thickness supraspinatus tear. The partial subscapularis tear is debrided, as well as the type II SLAP tear and anterior Bankart tear of the labrum. PushLock suture anchors are used to repair the labrum. A bursectomy and acromioplasty are performed, and the coracoacromial ligament is released. The surgery is then changed to an open surgery, and the greater tuberosity of the humeral head is decorticated. Suture anchors are placed in the decorticated bone, and sutures passed through the supraspinatus and tied.
