Erb-Duchenne paralysis (also known as Erb’s palsy) is a brachial palsy that occurs as a result of injury to the 5th and 6th cervical nerve roots. Characteristic arm position includes adduction of the arm, internal rotation of the shoulder joint, and pronation of the forearm.
