Orbital Frontonasal Tripod Skull Fractures and Repair
This exhibit features pre-operative and post-operative conditions of the skull. The pre-op skull is afflicted with numerous fractures of the frontal bone, nasal bones, bilateral orbits and tripod regions. The post-op condition includes a re-assembled craniotomy flap, which was secured to the skull with plates and screws. The right tripod fracture was realigned and bone graft struts were placed over the zygomatic fractures.
