Right Distal Humerus Fracture and Total Elbow Arthroplasty

This exhibit depicts a right distal humerus fracture with subsequent total arthroplasty. The post-accident condition shows a severely comminuted, intercondylar, intraarticular fracture of the distal right humerus. Post-operatively, the fracture fragments have been removed, an osteotomy has been performed on the proximal ulna, and a Biomet Discovery elbow joint prosthesis has been inserted.
