This exhibit shows the steps of a pediatric right shoulder surgery. The subscapularis and middle glenohumeral are released from the humerus to decompress the axillary nerve. Next, the pectoralis major is lengthened. A Hoffer transfer is then completed, where the teres major and latissimus dorsi tendons are released from the humerus and sutured to the rotator cuff to improve external rotation.
