A revision surgery was necessary after an osteochondral allograft transplantation failed to heal correctly. The prior right deltopectoral incision is reopened, adhesions are cleared, and the subscapularis is released from its attachment at the humerus. A saw is used to resect the humeral head, and the humerus is reamed in preparation for hemiarthroplasty. The implant base is impacted into the humeral, and the head is impacted onto the base. Suture anchors are placed in the lesser tuberosity, and the subscapularis is reattached to the humerus with sutures.
