Right Subdural Hematoma
This exhibit features two axial CT renditions of the brain highlighting the conditions of a right subdural hematoma. The post-accident condition depicts a large right subdural hemorrhage extending from anterior to lateral. The hemorrhage causes mass-effect on the right brain, effacing the right lateral ventricle, and shifting the midline to the left. Post-operatively, there is still midline shift with effacement of the right lateral ventricle, and a residual clot. A craniotomy site can be seen in the right lateral skull.
