Arthroscopic Repairs of Right Shoulder Fracture Avulsions

A greater tuberosity avulsion fracture required surgical intervention. Hematoma and scar tissue were debrided from the affected area, as were the damaged glenohumeral cartilage, biceps tendon, and bursa. SwiveLock anchors were placed into the medial humeral head, and sutures were passed through the supraspinatus and infraspinatus. The fracture fragments were reduced and secured with a lateral suture anchor, and the anterior and posterior cuffs were secured with two additional anchors.
