Bilateral Hand Burns and Upper Extremity Amputations

This exhibit shows post-trauma and post-operative conditions of the left hand and forearm. Severe third-degree electrocution burns required several surgeries to repair the area to a stable state. Fasciotomies, escharotomies, and a guillotine amputation of the left hand at the forearm were performed. The amputation was revised three more times to accommodate an osseointegrated humeral implant eventually.
