This exhibit depicts C3-5 posterior hemilaminectomies with bilateral foraminotomies for neural decompression. The procedure begins with a posterior midline incision and exposure of the C3-5 lamina. The lamina of C3, C4, and C5 are partially removed with a drill, allowing access to the neural foramen. Bilateral foraminotomies are then performed to decompress the exiting cervical nerve roots.
