C3-6 Anterior Cervical Corpectomy and Fusion with Fibular Strut Graft

This exhibit depicts a C3-6 anterior cervical corpectomy and fusion with a fibular strut graft. The procedure begins with an incision over the anterior neck, exposing C3-6. Distraction pins are then placed, midline C3-6 disc herniations are removed, and total corpectomies of C4-5 are completed.The vertebral endplates are decorticated with a high speed drill, and fibular strut allograft is impacted into the vertebral column. Lastly, the fusion is stabilized with the placement of an anterior cervical plate and screws.
