C4-6 Anterior Cervical Corpectomy and Fusion with Fibular Strut Graft – No Text
This exhibit depicts a C4-6 anterior cervical corpectomy and fusion with a fibular strut graft. The procedure begins with an incision over the anterior neck, exposing C4-6. Distraction pins are then placed, midline C4-6 disc herniations are removed, and a total corpectomy of C5 is completed. The vertebral endplates are decorticated with a high speed drill, and fibular strut allograft is impacted into the vertebral column. Lastly, the fusion is stabilized with the placement of an anterior cervical plate and screws.
