Female Right Skull Fractures, Dural Laceration, and Repairs – No Text

This exhibit depicts the repair of multiple comminuted, depressed, right skull fractures and dural lacerations. An incision is made over the fractured temporal bone and fracture fragments are removed. The dural laceration is exposed and epidural blood is evacuated through suction. Duraplasty is performed to repair the laceration. Fracture fragments are then placed back into the skull, and secured with mini-plates.
