This surgical storyboard shows the steps of an ulnar nerve transposition surgery performed on an elbow with cubital tunnel syndrome. First, an incision is made over the elbow, exposing the ulnar nerve trapped within the cubital tunnel. Next, the cubital tunnel is released, and a medial epicondylectomy is performed. Finally, the ulnar nerve is transposed anteriorly and secured using a myofascial sling.
