Repairs to the bones and tendons of the left fifth finger are depicted in this exhibit. A pin is inserted through the head of the fifth metacarpal and into the proximal phalanx to reduce the fracture. Tenolysis is then performed to remove the adhesions affecting the flexor tendons of the fifth finger. An incision is made over the fifth finger and the adhesions entrapping the flexor tendons are dissected. The A4 pulley is incised to allow for traction of the deep flexor tendon.
