Left Forearm Fractures, Elbow Laceration, and Repairs

This exhibit depicts fractures and lacerations of the left forearm with subsequent surgical repairs. Pre-operatively, there is a displaced midshaft radial fracture, comminuted displaced fractures of the ulnar midshaft, and comminuted fractures of the distal ulna. A laceration is also present on the elbow. Post-operatively, the radius has been reduced and fixated with a six-hole plate. The ulnar midshaft has also been reduced and fixated with a rod. The distal ulna was percutaneously pinned, and the elbow laceration was closed with sutures.
