Left Musculocutaneous and Median Nerve Release

This exhibit depicts the surgical release of a scar tissue band compressing the musculocutaneous and median nerves. An incision is made over the upper arm and the biceps is retracted to reveal the compressed nerves. A probe is used to dissect away the fibrous tissue from the musculocutaneous and median nerves, decompressing the posterior cord of the brachial plexus.
