Nasal Fractures, Right Twisting of Nasal Cartilages, and Reconstruction

This exhibit depicts nasal fractures and twisting of nasal cartilages with subsequent realignment. Pre-accident, there is normal alignment of the nasal bones, bony septum, and nasal cartilages. Post-accident, there is a comminuted, depressed fracture of the nasal bones with deviation of the bony septum. There is also twisting of the nasal cartilage to the right. Post-operatively, the nasal and septal bone fragments are realigned, and the cartilage position is restored.
