Open Reduction and Internal Fixation of the Right Radius

This surgical storyboard shows the steps of an open reduction internal fixation of a right radius with the removal of prior hardware. An incision is made over the anterior forearm, and dissection is performed between the radial artery and flexor carpi radialis tendon. Hardware from a prior surgery is removed, and the radius fracture fragments are reduced. A new plate is used to secure the radius fracture fragments.
