This exhibit depicts the anterior anatomy of the shoulder with a partial thickness tear of the subscapularis tendon. The subscapularis is a large muscle that forms the anterior portion of the rotator cuff, and helps to internally rotate the shoulder joint. Other anatomical structures include: the clavicle, coracoid process, acromion process, glenoid, supraspinatus, humerus, and biceps brachii.
