Right Brachial Plexus Stretch Injury and Nerve Graft Repair

This exhibit depicts a right brachial plexus stretch injury requiring surgical nerve grafting. Pre-operatively, there is a C5-6 neuroma with scar tissue trapping the brachial plexus and suprascapular nerve. Nerve grafts were harvested from the leg, the scar tissue was removed, and the neuroma was partially excised. The repair was completed with the placement of grafts from C5 to the suprascapular nerve and C6 to the upper trunk.
