Right Upper Extremity Degloving Injury and Brachial Occlusion Repair

Illustrated in this exhibit are the steps taken to repair brachial occlusion and a right upper extremity degloving injury. The degloving injury is debrided, the medial head of the biceps is repaired, and the wound is closed. The brachial artery occlusion is exposed, and an arteriotomy is made in the brachial artery. A Fogarty catheter is inserted into the artery to restore the blood flow.
