Right Wrist Fracture and Surgical Repair

This exhibit shows pre-operative and post-operative conditions of right wrist fractures. The pre-op condition shows that the radius and ulna, which already have plates and screws from prior surgery, have new fractures. There is a non-displaced styloid process fracture of the ulna and a comminuted distal radial fracture. Post-operatively, the prior radial shaft plate was removed to allow another open reduction internal fixation and plate to secure the distal radial fracture.
