Right Wrist Protruding Screw Tip Removal

A protruding screw tip from a previously placed volar radius plate began to irritate the muscles and tendons of the second compartment of the right wrist. Surgery was performed to alleviate this discomfort. An incision was made over the right dorsal wrist, and the fascia of the second compact was released. Once the screw tip was visualized, a burr was used to grind it flush to the bone so it would no longer irritate the surrounding structures.
