Surgery to Repair Erb’s Palsy Bony Deformities of the Right Shoulder
Five illustrated surgical steps demonstrate a right shoulder Erb’s palsy bony deformity repair. A portion of the scapula is removed. Holes are then drilled through the scapula border, and secured to the spine with sutures. The scapula and clavicle are cut, and the scapula is repositioned. Two holes are drilled into the clavicle. Lastly, the clavicle is unwound, with screws and sutures reconnecting the two segments.
