Tumor of the Left Axillary Region and Neurovascular Structures
This exhibit features three images showcasing the effects of an axillary tumor on the regional nerves, arteries, veins, and left lung. The first image depicts the anatomy of the brachial plexus, with the posterior cord trapped within the axillary tumor. The second image shows the arterial anatomy of the upper limb, with the subclavian and axillary arteries trapped by the tumor. Lastly, the venous anatomy is depicted, with the tumor entrapping the axillary vein and its branches. The tumor can also be seen involving the apex of the left lung.
