Binocular Vision vs. Convergence Insufficiency

SKU: C06025

This exhibit shows the effects that visual-vestibular integration dysfunction has on vision. Cervical spine disc bulges and herniations have caused damage to the transmission of visual, vestibular, and proprioceptive signals. This results in the inability to sustain the simultaneous movement of the eyes toward each other, so binocular focus is unachievable. Instead, vision is blurred, and the left eye has a sensitivity to light.
