Comminuted Open Wrist Fracture with Reduction and External Fixation

This exhibit depicts an open fracture of the left wrist with reduction and external fixation. Pre-operatively, there is a severely displaced and comminuted fracture of the distal radius. A fracture of the ulnar styloid is also present. The radial fractures were then reduced and pinned with K-wires in a joystick fashion. An EBI external fixator was applied for stabilization.
