Dislocated Right Elbow with Soft Tissue Injuries

This exhibit depicts the posterior and medial conditions of a dislocated right elbow with soft tissue injuries. Posteriorly, the radius and ulna are subluxated, causing the triceps and anconeus to be torn from their insertions. The origin of the common extensor tendon is also disrupted at the lateral epicondyle of the humerus. Medially, the posterolateral elbow dislocation results in a one-and-a-half-inch rent in the flexor pronator origin. The medial collateral ligament is tattered at its origin on the humerus and avulsed from the sublime tubercle of the ulna.
