This exhibit depicts a left elbow dislocation, subsequent soft tissue repair, and external fixation. Pre-operatively, the distal humerus is dislocated anteriorly, avulsing the lateral collateral ligament from the lateral epicondyle. Post-operatively, the elbow has been reduced, and the lateral collateral ligament has been repaired to its origin with a fiber wire suture. Stability is maintained through the application of an external fixator.
