Evacuation of Intraparenchymal Hematoma

SKU: C03020

This surgical storyboard shows the illustrated steps of a bicoronal craniotomy performed to allow for an evacuation of an intraparenchymal hematoma. First, an incision is made on the scalp to expose the skull. Next, a drill is used to create a skull flap, which is removed to reveal the torn dura and sinus fractures. Sinus mucosa and the posterior wall of the frontal sinus are removed, and the intraparenchymal hematoma is evacuated. Plates and screws are used to resecure the bone flap.
