This exhibit presents five illustrated steps of a left lateral epicondylar release; four zoomed-in views of the procedure and an orientation. The first illustration on the left shows the exposure of the lateral epicondyle, as well as the release of the extensor carpi radialis longus. Next is the exposure and removal of edematous tissue around the base of the extensor carpi radialis brevis. The lateral epicondyle of the humerus is then drilled to promote bone bleeding. Lastly, the extensor carpi radialis longus and brevis are reattached to the lateral epicondyle.
