Male Left Craniotomy with Subdural Hematoma Evacuation

This exhibit depicts a left craniotomy and subdural hematoma evacuation. A left frontotemporoparietal skin flap is created and reflected to expose the skull. A craniotomy flap is then burred and removed from the skull. A dural incision is made and the subdural hematoma is evacuated with suction. Lastly, the dura is reapproximated with sutures and the craniotomy flap is secured with plates.
