Non-Union of Ulnar Osteotomy and Surgical Repair

The pre-op and post-op X-rays and conditions of a right forearm are shown in this exhibit. The pre-op condition shows hardware from prior surgery and an unsuccessful ulnar osteotomy that resulted in a fibrous non-union. In the post-op condition, a screw from the non-union area was removed, and the bone hole was filled with bone graft. The fibrous non-union was debrided, and bone graft was placed at the non-union site.
