Right Frontal Endoscopic Third Ventriculostomy

SKU: C03028

This exhibit depicts the surgical steps performed during a right frontal endoscopic third ventriculostomy. First, an incision is made on the right frontal scalp, which is opened to allow for a hole to be drilled into the skull. Next, the choroid plexus is cauterized with Bugbee wire. Then the Liliequist membrane and the space in front of the basilar artery are fenestrated with a Bugbee wire and cold probe.
