Steps to a proposed C4-6 anterior cervical discectomy and arthroplasty are outlined in this exhibit. First, an incision will be made over the anterior neck to expose cervical vertebrae C3-7. Discectomies will be performed at C4-5 and C5-6. Then, nerve roots at C4, C5, and C6 will be decompressed bilaterally before disc replacements are inserted at C4-5 and C5-6.
