This exhibit shows the steps of a proposed two-level ACDF. First, diskectomies and bilateral decompression of the neural foramina will be performed at C3-4 and C4-5. Next, vertebral endplates will be burred, and cages filled with bone graft will be inserted into the two disk spaces. A three-level plate will then be secured with screws to stabilize the fusion.
